Young Peacebuilders

Magou Diawara Co-founder, Malian Youth Association for School Development, Mali. I hold a Master degree in Unilingual English. I also graduated with a major in English from the Teachers’ Training School. I attended this school with the aim to contribute to the development of Education in my country. Furthermore, I am a Co- founder of MJDEM : Malian Youth Association for School Development. As part of my studies, I lived in the United States for five weeks to attend the SUSI Program on 'Women's Leadership' at the University of Delaware in 2015. I also benefited from the UNAOC Young Peacebuilders in West Africa program in 2016-17 edition in Abuja, Nigeria. I am currently motivated to the highest point by my entry to the University of Caen and by my pursuit of higher education in France for the 2018-19 academic year. I will be specializing in Master 1A in the field : Languages , Literatures, Cultures, and Civilisation. This choice has a root link with my passion for peacebuilding. It's for not only to strengthen my intellectual capacity in world diversity in terms of «  culture and civilization » which is important in the process of Peacebuilding , but also it will allow me to be in contact with actors in charge of Peacebuilding. Besides, to continue my quest of peacebuilders, i joined a network in Caen, France « LA Voix Des Femmes » that intervenes a lot in peace process and aims at promoting professional, social and intercultural integration of all. I serve as Assistant Treasurer. I also volunteered as Translator in « Family Planning « in Cean.
