The Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi invites grant applications from women’s rights and gender equality organizations in India. The grant will be for up to 3 years, subject to Norwegian parliamentary approval, starting 2018, and will cover costs related to programming and thematic work. Funds will not be provided for physical infrastructure and corpus building.
The Sustainable Development Goals put gender equality at the heart of the international agenda, and in 2016 the Norwegian Government launched a new Action Plan for Women’s Rights and Gender Equality in Foreign Development Policy 2016-2020 .
