Abdellah Yassine Boukourizia
Fellowship Programme
Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Yassine was involved in community and social and cultural field at an early age. In june 2006, Yassine graduated with research honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English studies with a minor in Communication and Mass Media at Hassan II University. After graduation, Yassine was selected from a pool of 100 young leaders to represent Morocco in the MENA program in the US. His main personal interests are intercultural dialogue, religions, peace, politics, culture and youth. He went on to obtain a professional bachelor degree in librarian studies & publishing sciences at Hassan II University in 2009. in 2013, Yassine obtained his masters degree in sociology "Gender, Society and Culture". in 2019, Yassine was awarded a doctoral degree in Sociology after defending his dissertation before a jury at Hassan II University. Professionally, Yassine taught and lectured many years at different universities and scientific institutions and accumulated more than 15 years of strong experience in managing international NGO.
