Abiodun Rufus-Unegbu
Youth Solidarity Fund (YSF)
Abiodun is a youth leader and community activist with over 12 years of experience in civic leadership/public management garnered from volunteering as a peer educator on adolescent reproductive health for international and local groups, including Family Health International and Community Life Project, Nigeria. Abiodun is currently serving as the Executive Director and co-founder of “Leadership Initiative for Youth Empowerment”, where she designs and implements youth development programmes on Democracy and Governance, Human Rights, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Economic Empowerment and peace-building (focus on intercultural learning) for youths and grassroots communities. Her current responsibilities include project management, fund raising, community mobilization, advocacy and networking. Abiodun possess hard-skills in project design, coordination and implementation, advocacy and communication, social-networking for change and monitoring and evaluation. She also possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos as well as an Ordinary National Diploma in Computer Science from the Lagos State Polytechnic, Nigeria
