I’m Alba, a cultural manager with over 10 years of experience, always driven by the belief that culture is a powerful tool for social change. I’ve worked in areas like cultural cooperation, human rights, and sustainable development, and my diverse academic background has given me a broad, interdisciplinary perspective on how to create impact through culture. I currently lead Fundación Ixcanul, an organization that uses cinema and the arts as engines for transformation. From this space, I help drive projects that encourage critical thinking, professional growth, and a stronger demand for meaningful, high-quality audiovisual content. I coordinate teams, manage partnerships and budgets, and dream big with artists and creators from Guatemala and beyond. I’m also a One Young World ambassador, part of a global network of young leaders committed to building a more just world. I love connecting with people who believe in doing things differently.
