Alessia Lefebure

Dr. Alessia Lefébure is the Director of the Alliance Program at Columbia University since 2011. Prior to this, she served as the Director of the Center for Asia and the Pacific at Sciences Po, from 2006 to 2011. She has mainly worked in the area of Global Higher Education, with experiences in Research management, Academic Affairs, and International Development. At Sciences Po she was key in the definition, implementation and development of the school’s institutional policies across the Asia-Pacific region and the emerging world. She managed intercultural teams in France, China, Japan and India. She developed external relations with universities and research organizations as well as governments, foundations, NGOs, press, alumni, and students worldwide. She teaches Comparative Public Policies at SIPA, the School of International and Public Affairs.
