Intercultural Innovation Award (IIA)
I founded Chintan to find solutions to India's exploding and unsustainable consumption and deeply exploitative recycling by the most marginalized persons in cities. Although I was trained in the liberal arts in Delhi University and international public policy at Johns Hopkins' SAIS, my current work is most often related to managing the organization, fundraising and strategic thinking. I write a column with the Hindustan Times, Greenpiece and have edited 'Finding Delhi,' (2010, Penguin). My key interests are around advocacy and campaigns, as well as writing.
