Summer Schools



Dan is a 30-year old from Malawi. He is a social worker with vast experience in promoting Inter culture and Interfaith among young people in Malawi. Dan has also been involved in humanitarian and youth engagement and inclusion initiatives at different levels. Apart from attending the UNAOC 2nd Summer School in Lisbon, Portugal, Dan has been involved in the \'YSF funded-Increasing tolerance among youth of different faiths and culture Project in Malawi, a project which successfully reached more than 4,500 young people, worked in promoting human rights, and understanding among religious and traditional leaders on subjects particularly regarding economic, social and cultural rights. These objectives were met through the establishment of orientation meetings, monthly forum groups, training sessions and mass awareness meetings. Since 2016, Dan has founded Hope alive Foundation that works for youth togetherness, empowerment and inclusion among young people with cultural, social and economic differences championing the experiences he gained in the UNAOC partnership.
