Evi is a program manager at Yayasan Sahabat Kapas, a local and nonproft NGO in Indonesia that works on child protection issues. She is responsible for design and implement a curriculum for juvenile/youth offenders, advocate their needs in policy making level, as well as run campaigns about child's rights and ending stigmatization towards marginalized youth. The creative approach she and her team used to provide an alternative education and psychosocial supports for incarcerated children landed her organization a precious award from The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) among others awards.
