Youth Solidarity Fund (YSF)
Fasahat Ul Hassan is founder-chairman of national youth organization “Youth Advocacy Network (YAN)” with more than 10 years’ work experience on Sustainable Development, Human Rights, LSBE/CSE, SRHR, Intercultural Dialogue, and Gender Equality. Tri-lingual manager and leader with strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills; project management, research and extensive policy advocacy experience, Fsahat has represented as an official youth delegate in annual meetings of UN Commission on Population Development at UN headquarters, Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development by UNESCAP. He has contributed in 1st Kazan Youth Camp and 1st OIC Young Leaders Summit by Islamic Conference Youth Forum (ICYF-DC). He observed OIC Heads of states meeting as youth delegate during UN General Assembly session 2017. He is active part of Commonwealth Youth Council and Peace Ambassadors Network, UN Major Group of Children and Youth, RHSC Youth Caucus, and National SDG Alliance. He is Passionate about demonstrating the potential of youth in policy advocacy to counter social inequalities, peace and strong believer of evidence-based practices. He has been involved in a wide range of youth engagement, active citizenship and human rights programmes across Pakistan, and South Asia. He has bachelor degree in Political Science and masters in Gender Studies from University of the Punjab, Lahore.
