Social Care Youth Initiative
Youth Solidarity Fund (YSF)
I was born in a rural area of Rwanda where I opened my eyes to new insights about attitudes and living styles of my people. My father used to move around different East African countries as part of his job and this shifting between locations allowed me to observe cultural differences between people. This also exposed me to problems that were common in the transition from adolescence to youth, which was often associated with emotional stress. In 2009, I was enrolled in National University of Rwanda to study Pharmacy and I have invested my education in community and volunteer experience working with several interfaith organizations for the past four years. Cultural exchange, interfaith, Gender Equality, Youth rights and participation are the core areas of my interest and experience. I uphold youth leadership on matters of culture, interfaith and sustainable development. I am passionate about intercultural and interfaith work and unparallel enthusiasm for youth activities.
