Joaquin Caudeli Fasciolo

Fellowship Programme
Joaquin Caudeli works for the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development where he focuses on gender, human rights and the 2030 Agenda in Latin America. He was part of the Fellowship 2019 from UNAOC with a focus on the Role of Women in Peacemaking and Conflict Prevention. He has written his dissertation on “Gender mainstreaming in peace and security processes in Latin America following Resolution 1325 of the Security Council: an analysis of women's participation”, focusing on its implementation in the region. Moreover, he holds a M.A. in Diplomacy and International Relations from the Diplomatic School and co-founded “Equipo Europa” with volunteers from the European Parliament, a youth-led organisation working on the participation of young women and men in Europe. Currently they are working on youth transformation with multiple projects on youth engagement and representation of their interests in public and political life for sustainable development. Joaquin is specialised in youth and civic engagement at the non-profit sector.
