Intercultural Innovation Award (IIA)
I worked for several years with a humanitarian organisation supporting health and advocacy programmes in Palestine and the refugee camps of Lebanon before retraining as a multimedia journalist with the NCTJ. I won the Guardian International Development Journalism award in 2010 and was listed in Journalism.co.uk's top female innovators in digital media in 2014. I founded On Our Radar in 2012 with a belief that information is powerful and stories are best told straight from the source.
