Hi, I am Mariya from Kazakhstan. I work for a local ngo that empowers young women from rural and urban areas. I believe that only through education, soft-skills development and dialogue we can build strong and sustainable society. I believe in prevention, that's why all of the programs and projects I lead I apply an education approach. Only through increasing potential of a person we can not only prevent this person from potential threads (like domestic violence, suicide, arranged marriages), but also the person becomes a leader of the communitites.
