Megara Tegal
Consultant Researcher, United Nations Population Fund

Summer Schools

I am currently a researcher at the Law and Society Trust, and I'm part of a team researching and analysing the outbreak of inter-racial violence in the Kandy district earlier this year. Apart from my work as a researcher, I have worked in journalism, and I have a great deal of experience in activism, volunteer work and art for change. I've been working in media for a little under 10 years, with experience in print, TV and online journalism. I have also performed in forum theatre as a form of activism, and spoken at several conferences and panel discussions on topics ranging from activism to online media ethics.
