Mohammad Sammour
Global Director of Programs, Peace First

Mohammad is a strategist with several years of experience in innovation, projects management, and community-based solutions. He embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by co-founding a multi-awarded social venture that concerned about the role of culture and art in promoting community development, creative industry and social inclusion under the name of MedeArts. Mohammad is currently the Global Directors of Programs at Peace First, he leads the organizational growth in 6 different global regions. He previously, served as Peace First Senior Program Manager, and MENA Regional Manager. Peace First provides a blended digital design platform where young people can imagine and create powerful innovations to solve real problems in the world. In addition to digital design tools, PF provides mentors, connections with young people from over 145 countries, and small start-up grants. All of this takes place on the Peace First digital platform — the world’s largest marketplace for youth-led social change initiatives. Sammour is a member of the Global Shapers Community under the World Economic Forum and a global fellow at AMENDS - Stanford University, YouthActionNet, Observer Research Foundation (ORF), International Youth Foundation (BADIR), and UNAOC intercultural leaders. Besides his degree from Jordan University of Science & Technology, Mohammad is a Global Business Institute scholar - Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. In 2021, Mohammad was awarded with the Said Foundation scholarship to pursue his postgraduate degree in Global Strategy & Innovation Management at the University of Leeds, in the United Kingdom.
