Your friendly neighbourhood Dentist. My name is Ossama Alwash, born in 1995 in Babylon, Iraq. my focus is on youth leadership and engagement. I can talk to you about tech, theology, politics, anthropology and anything STEM, or any other subject granted it’s not sports. I served as the president of Babylon Toastmasters club since early 2018. I'm an alumnus of the Iraqi Leadership Fellowship programme of 2022 and part of the 2020 cohort of the Women Deliver Young Leaders Program. As someone who was born and raised in Iraq, I have been directly impacted by the issues and challenges facing the Middle East on a fundamental and personal level, and I've always been deeply interested in the dynamics of such conflicts and issues and the cultural developments that drive them and that result from them alike, and I always had the desire to develop a safer and more prosperous livelihood for myself and for my community.
