I’m a strategic designer based in Rio de Janeiro, specialized in cocreation of solutions within low income communities. My work in the past years has focused in the development of favelas and in the use of open social technologies and open solutions, to empower people to create and take ownership of local solutions – be it related a new way to share content among people without internet access, to local farming, to DIY solar panels, to new social configurations. I’ve previously worked as a design researcher, innovation strategist, graphic and interaction designer in USA, Brazil. I co-authored the book Gamification, Inc., and I currently teach Design Research in university. I’m happy to talk to you about anything related to Entrepreneurship, Social Business, P2P, open social technologies, Design Thinking, Design Research, Gamification, or anything else.
