Summer Schools
I am a social entrepreneur from Liberia, and I’m currently temporarily living in the United States. I developed the concept Eureka Initiatives in 2013 while studying at kanthari (India). I am also a member of the UNAOC-EF Summer School Class of 2014. Eureka mission is to curtail youth violence in post-war Liberia, by creating spaces for young people to express their feelings through hip-hop, poetry, dance, comedy, sports and other academic competitions. We implemented our first pilot project in 2014, upon my return to Liberia. Following the pilot project, we have been working to secure funding for the establishment of our long-term goal – a multi-purpose learning and recreational facility for young people in Liberia.
