Walaa Ahmed

Walaa Ahmed is a founder and director of Better World Organization for Community Development in Kurdistan region of Iraq. After working more than 5 years with NGOs in different positions but all related to social, behaviors change, humanitarian and development. Walaa believes that motivated and initiative young people could change the world to a better place in which all people live in peace and survive from violent. Hence, Walaa can play important role in her community to lead such motivated young people to make the change she envisions; peaceful better world. Her experience and personality has made her a hardworking and initiative female leader in her community. She believes people are safe when all people believe in peace and practice it and stop against extremism in all its forms.
